We chose these sheep for our ranch because they are the best all around sheep:very friendly, easily maintained, no shearing, very tolerant to parasites and they're great mothers. They are all registered and tested for OPP and CL.

 

Our Katahdins are a joy to have around. They are primarily meat sheep. However, until we purchased our Friesian sheep, we used to milk our Katahdins. They were easy to train for milking.
 

The KHSI is a very good organization that works hard to promote and maintain the quality of the breed. The KHSI is extremely helpful.
